Food and Nutrition
Find the triggers and blocks to your poor relationship with food and drink. Overeating or undereating, eating food that lacks nutrition, weight gain or lacking in vitality-all these issues can be addressed.
I help my clients to make the right food and drink choices, finding a healthy balance without feeling that they are on a diet.

PTSD and trauma
PTSD is a mental health condition that usually starts in childhood, but will present when the individual is in adulthood as a result of childhood trauma. Often, looking back, the adult may not necessarily see this as a traumatic event. It can cause flashbacks, nightmares, severe anxiety, and emotional numbness, making it difficult to feel safe or present in daily life. Over time, it can lead to isolation, depression, and a reduced quality of life, but with the right support and treatment, healing is possible.
Depression
Depression is a mental health conditionvwhere the person has persistent feelings of sadness, hopelessness, and a lack of interest in activities they once enjoyed. Its symptoms can include fatigue, difficulty concentrating, changes in appetite or sleep patterns, and a sense of worthlessness or guilt. If left untreated, depression can impact daily functioning and overall well-being. I help my clients to feel optimistic, happy and to help them find a love of life.
Anxiety
Anxiety is a huge issue in todays society. Suffering anxiety will consume a person’s mind, leading to constant stress and fear, and make it difficult to enjoy life or focus on the present moment. It can also cause physical symptoms like fatigue, heart palpitations, and headaches, and this affects both mental and physical well-being. About Me
I’m Caroline Church, a therapist based in Chesterfield near the Peak District, passionate about helping individuals unlock their potential and find lasting relief from mental health challenges. With expertise in Hypnotherapy and Belief Coding®, I focus on addressing the root causes of anxiety, depression, and PTSD by working with the subconscious mind.
I also run programs to improve relationships with food, combining hypnotherapy and education to stabilize blood sugar and improve diabetes symptoms, with clients reporting better health and weight loss.
With 25 years as a front-line police officer, I understand the impact of past experiences on mental health. Having struggled with self-esteem, anxiety, and depression myself, I know how tough it is to feel stuck. Since becoming a therapist, I’ve healed my own traumas and helped many others overcome limiting beliefs and regain confidence.
My goal, whether in person or online, is to help clients rediscover their strength and create lasting, positive change.
